19 Oct A visit to Fitness Fair
After all the months of procrastination, I finally walked through the doors of the Fitness Fair store in Lekki Phase One, (right next to Kayzplace barbershop), and my first thought immediately I stepped inside was “Why didn’t I do this sooner?”
The store is aptly named, because I felt like I had stepped into, well, a fitness fair. The place is packed full of equipment and apparel catering to various types of fitness – literally packed to the rafters. It’s almost like a warehouse. A modestly sized, rainbow colored fitness warehouse!
Fitness Fair Lekki, Lagos – Review
The Fitness Fair makes maximum use of its relatively small space; I was pleasantly surprised at the sheer amount of stuff I could find in the place compared to a lot of larger stores. There were shoes, supplements, swimming goggles and footballs, workout bags, workout clothes, bicycles, waist trainers, racquets, yoga mats and helmets, to name a few. I can’t even list everything I saw. Heck, I’m just going to leave you to play where’s Waldo with the pictures I took in the store and see what you can pick out.

Surrounded by so much fitness merchandise, you can trust my impulse shopping habit to rear its ugly head. I came in looking for just a new workout top, but left with an ab roller, swimming trunks, gloves and a pretty neat hat that I’d been looking for all over the web! Lucky!
The Fitness Fair also offers salads, which you can order by phone – apparently there’s another branch of the store in Banana Island where they actually make the salads and have other items for sale, so I’ll have to check it out sometime.
Location: 11 Admiralty Way, Lekki (right next to Kayzplace barbershop)
